Management System - LIMS
QMS manages the laboratory testing process characteristic of
many industries. In the LIMS environment, samples are taken from
the ongoing (usually continuous) manufacturing process and
removed to a separate laboratory for testing. Often the testing
protocols are subject to regulatory standards. QMS accommodates
LIMS requirements in a number of ways:
- Automatic handling and generation of regulatory paperwork
(labsheets, notebooks, lot stickers, certificates of
analysis)
- Traceability of laboratory detected nonconformances to
specific inputs (lots, batches, timeslices, etc.)
- Complete quality records including audit trails
- Real time transmission and acknowledgment of results
- Built-in costing calculations
- RS232 interface to laboratory equipment
