Most browsers will offer to:

> execute the program automatically after the download is complete [recommended] 
or
> save the program to the disk [remember Path (i.e.where saved)].  To execute, you must then:

 click Start, click Run, enter: Path\CIMLIT95.EXE

Step 2: Unpack >

We compress the required files into a single program file, CIMLIT95.EXE [or CIMLITE2.EXE for 3.x],
making it faster and easier to download.

If you have chosen to automatically execute  CIMLIT95.EXE , all the required files will be automatically unpacked.  Otherwise you must:

click Start, click Run, enter Path\CIMLIT95.EXE
or
go to the directory [Path] where you put CIMLIT95.EXE and double click on the icon/name .

Just before the decompression program begins to unpack the files, a dialog box appears and explains what to expect.  Click on the OK button to continue.

The  program estimates the expected time to unpack the files.  After clicking on the Setup button, a bar indicates the progress of the unpacking process.

Step 3: Setup >

Windows 95, 98 and NT
The Application Installation Program, Setup, automatically starts after the unpacking process is finished. CIM/Quality Lite is installed in the directory: C:\Program Files\cimlite [or in a directory you specify during the setup process].

Windows 3.1, 3.x
You can setup the CimLite application just as if you received a diskette with the set of application files on it. You can either click on the Start button, select Run and then type:

c:\stored directory path\SETUP.EXE
where "stored directory path" is the place you stored CIMLIT95.EXE

or

you can go into that directory and double click on SETUP.EXE

Step 4: Running CIM/Quality Lite>

The Setup program  automatically starts CIM/Quality Lite.

The first screen displays the License Agreement restrictions for this free version.
The next screen is the CIM/Quality splash screen [Logo  with 3 options]. If you click:

Tutorial [recommended], you get a brief tour of the virtual factory
Start CIM , you will be ready to run the Virtual Factory

To run CIM/Quality Lite.again,:

 click on its desktop icon,

 or

click.Start, click Programs, click cimlite
