The ability to provide conforming material is not the only criterion on which to assess overall sub-contractor performance. QMS/9000+ allows you to record, track and compare sub-contractors not only on their ability to provide conforming material, but also on other performance measures such as: timeliness, in-process failures, repair, rework and scrap problems encountered, corrective action response, or other user-defined metrics.
